In its inception, Humans of Columbia served as an opportunity to feature unique individuals across the Columbia College Chicago campus. I felt that each seemingly ordinary person possessed an incredible life story that was unique to them. In an effort to highlight this fact and share their stories, I sought out students from all over campus who stood for various causes, differed in their upbringing, pursued a distinct area of study, and carried something unique to their own character. Though ambitious, I committed myself to photographing, copywriting, and designing this zine featuring twelve students within the span of just two short weeks. Although this project is older, it still serves as the best exhibition of my determination and dedication to accomplish my goals.
